To dissolve biofilm protein bonds, you need a pH of 11-12 (highly alkaline).
- Vinegar: pH ~2.5 (acidic—wrong direction entirely)
- Baking soda: pH ~8 (mildly alkaline—not even close)
- Lemon juice: pH ~2 (acidic)
- Salt water: pH ~7 (neutral)
None of these even approach the pH needed to break down biofilm.
